From Battling germs, Uplifting your mood, Helping us battle with insomnia, Bug repellent, Pet care, Or Cleaning your home. There's an essential oil for that!

So our basic essential oils are as shown above. I keep my collection small but necessary oils would include Frankincense which is used for colic and intestinal gas (flatulence). It can be applied to the skin in hand cream, I prefer to use coconut oil with it and run on sore muscles and joints. Especially during fall, when the weather changes and joints stiffen. The essential oil of frankincense is used on the skin and by inhalation as a pain-killer.
(Questions for all followers, passerby's, and long-time friends: Would you email me with any suggestions on any oils that have been able to help psoriasis? I would be grateful for any suggestions, tips and hacks as to how to help a dear love of mine for a natural helpful relief during a flair up. T.I.A. )

Another great daily used essential oil is tea tree. I add just a few drops to my daughters conditioning dangler spray. I started to become cautious of the possibilities of one of my children bringing home lice. We have yet to deal with this pesky situation, thankfully, and this is a huge benefactor. I also add it to witch hazel and spray it onto my kids and dog before hikes, especially mosquito season here. This versatile oil is one of my favorites for so many reasons, Tea tree oil is claimed as useful for treating dandruff, acne, lice, herpes, insect bites, scabies, and skin fungal or bacterial infections.
Peppermint is one of the oils I utilized most of all. It is what saved me, my second pregnancy, during what seemed like 9 months of morning sickness... it's what got me through my SO holiday company dinner. (Which I usually look forward to all season, as it's usually the ONLY adult time I get with no small kids running around as I look around embarrassed by my toddler causing a scene for some unknown reason. Knowing I shouldn't have brought them to this fancy restaurant but this is literally again MY ONLY ADULT TIME during this already stressful season. But of course, your babysitter cancels last minute, and you are dressed in a dress that is not covered in your child's messy-sticky fingers. Not yet anyways, as you laugh eternally because Yup, just as you knew it, here she comes. Your beautiful little darling daughter covered in crackers that she got from her big sister. Something that could potentially become a choking hazard, you think to yourself at that very moment that you really whizzed through the CPR seminar you signed you and your SO for (during the first pregnancy) and can not recollect a single thing. Literally drawing a complete blank for what seems like a million minutes, maybe a lifetime.. and now you have to make a decision. What am I doing trying to keep it all together? But it's okay when I think I am losing my sanity, one toddler or teenage meltdown at a time. I turn to my essential oils. They are my lifeline I feel when there is no break. No time-out from the crazy the day may bring with three kids.) I know that I was up over my head when morning sickness didn't subside during this extremely fancy five course beautiful meal, and I was having the hardest time making it through beginning of the meal. Luckly, beside my Sea-Band (I wore two that night) but also, my essitial oil bottle of peppermint oil in hand. I started with a drop or two on each of the Sea-Bands but that wasn't doing it. I ended up with the bottle of peppermint oil right there on the table, occasionally taking a whiff of the sent here and there, next to my ice water and my beautifully wrapped cloth napkin. So yes, my favorite for many reasons, including saved the holiday dinner.
Lavender oil is my last basic must-have oil. I try and always have on hand. I put three or four drops on either side of my LO's car seat between washes and before long trips to grandparent's house. Which is never fun, my LO's teething is a huge cause.. but honestly, I believe it is worse on the time I manage to forget the lavender oil. I always end up regretting it when I do. I also have a lavender essential oil room spray I use on all three of my kids's pillow cases between weekly washing of bedding.
Last but not least, all of our citrus scents. Lemon, sweet orange, and lime. I love to use all of these in my Diy- all purpose cleaner. I will be uploading a link for a YouTube tutorial as soon as I am able to edit it. ) I promise before the end of the week. I talk more about the wonderful uses for the all purpose cleaner, that in my opinion cleans better than any chemically lased commercialized cleaners you can by at the store. And best of all besides its wonderful cleaning, deodorizing, mold preventing powers, it also helps kill germs in there tracks. Cleaning and sanitizing without, harming your bodies natural immune system. I love this cleaner to wipe down all the kid's toys. Including the playroom. Where the kids play with their cousins, or friends kids, and lets face it, kids are gross sometimes, snotty, and have to be reminded sometimes to cover their coughs and to wash with soap. So germs spread. But I also used to cringe using chemicals to cleans the kids things. Was so scared the table may not have dried and they are now about to place that chemical covered hand into their mouth, which will not only taste horrible, but kids hardly care, and now they have been poisoned essentially.
